In a series of engaging sessions, leaders will learn how to engage in the HILL Pedagogies' Five Pursuits Framework™️ at a leadership level. These sessions support various leaders such as school district board members, superintendents, administrators, school principals, academic coaches and more. Leaders learn how to engage in equity audits and how to redesign their mission statements, interview questions, recruitment strategies, school improvement plans, curriculum, standards, faculty meetings, teacher observations, evaluations, and other leadership practices.

In these sessions, support staff such as, office workers, paraprofessionals, parent coordinators custodial staff, lunch staff, security and school safety officers and more will learn the HILL Pedagogies' Five Pursuits Framework™ and ways to talk, engage, and care for students, families and communities.

In these sessions, parents will learn how to authentically incorporate the Five Pursuits of genius, justice, and joy into the home. Parents will receive mini-lessons, strategies, text lists, and discussion-based questions to engage their child in critical thinking and action, building their child’s identity, learning, skill development, intellect, criticality, and joy.

District and school academic leaders can engage in a series of intense professional learning on HILL Pedagogies' Five Pursuits Framework™ to then train, turnkey, or guide others in their districts. Participants receive a facilitation guide, slide decks, and guided direction for increasing capacity and sustainability for culturally and historically responsive education.

In these sessions, a Cultivating Genius Coach will engage educators in readings and discussions around books, Cultivating Genius and Unearthing Joy. These sessions are not like traditional book clubs and are instead developed as “intellectual feasts” to reflect 1800s literary societies. Educators will learn and reflect upon the books and share rich ideas for teaching and learning.

In these hands-on sessions, teachers will see themselves as artists. Using objects, unconventional items, and exploratory topics, teachers will work collaboratively to write creative lesson plans using the HILL Pedagogies' Five Pursuits Lesson Plan Template™. These fun and joyful sessions will remind educators of their creative genius and provide them with lesson plans they can teach immediately.

These sessions are co-designed with leaders, educators, and others to meet the special and unique needs of students.

Often, people in business, publishing, medical fields or other areas need to understand what the pursuits of identity, skills, intellect, criticality and joy mean for them. These sessions help employees understand how to apply pursuits in their respective areas.

If schools or districts are setting goals or creating plans, a consultant from HILL Pedagogies will collaborate with the team to strategize, provide advice, and participate in meaningful discussions.
